Sapphire Of The Sea Serpent Ring - Circa 1700's - Sterling Silver - with Sapphire eyes.

The Sea Serpent was most often used and seen on the large Bronze Canons.  It was used as the handle for the Canon.

This ring re-created from the bronze cannon handles of the 1715 Fleet, sank July 31, 1715 off the East Coast of Florida.

Set with Sapphire eyes, we couldn't help but name this sweetly ferocious sea creature, Sapphire.
