By allying with \u003ca style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/biography\/Philip-V-king-of-Macedonia\"\u003ePhilip V\u003c\/a\u003e of Macedon, it succeeded in recovering some of its former territory.
