Description: Private collection Spanish cob. Reign of Philip IV. Obverse: Clearly struck Greek cross with lions and castles visible in four quadrants. Reverse: Clearly struck Hapsburg Shield with enviromental damage. Denomination "I" visible on left side.
History: This coin is a certified member of the “Beachcomber Series” by Shipwreck Treasures of the Keys. It has been numismatically certified as authentic to its time period and demonstrates evidence of environmental wear and corrosion consistent with marine wear related to a shipwreck.
